Founded in 2019, PT Sahabat Laut Lestari (SLL) is an Indonesian company focused on the integration and use of technology and market-driven incentives to support industry and NGOs’ sustainable fisheries commitments. As an implementation and technology partner of an Indonesian-based NGO, Masyarakat dan Perikanan Indonesia (SLL), SLL offers three primary services:

  1. Traceability Information Technology
  2. Fisheries Certification implementation, and Fisheries Improvement consultantation.

With the goal of supporting the achievement of triple-bottom line fisheries – ecological, social, and economic – in Indonesia, SLL is a leading innovator in the development of traceability information technology within Indonesian fisheries.

Currently PT SLL is urgently seeking for a Software Developer Officer with working location in Denpasar – Bali, with frequent travel.

Support SLL system development for the improvement of sustainability within Indonesian Fisheries. To connects each stakeholder on aspects related to producing a transparent, traceable and high-quality product, and focus on engaging and supporting private sector in the seafood industry from fishermen to consumers on the topic of traceability and food safety and quality.

  1. Support the development a Traceability-Based Technology (TBT) platform that creates bidirectional information exchange between Indonesian fishermen, processors and traders. Traceability is a tool to show the good things.
  2. Support the customization software that already running in field/manufactures.  The software is a technology for sustainability in Indonesia’s supply chain that can be installed in small and medium sized processing facilities called TraceTales; it is an open source, internal traceability system. To improve efficiency of data recording, reducing human error, real time data and improve traceability of production lots and increase the ease with which production reports can be produced by eliminating paper-based tallying. This system is based on a local area network and combines different hardware constellations, various combinations of tablet/laptop as terminal, electronic weigh scales, label printers and scanners to create digitized and automated data collection within the processing company, in order to reduce data errors and improve the efficiency.
  3. Provide service support technology and giving solutions for TraceTales clients related to any issue found during TraceTales implementation daily basis.
  4. Designing and developing TraceTales system for new clients related to clients’ business process by collaboration with team and actively to manage good communications with clients related to technology and system.
  5. Designing and developing TraceTales dashboard system as management analytical applications and customer support system as platform system to record technical issue related to TraceTales implementation in each client by collaboration with team and other related supply chain software technology.
  6. Strengthens our stakeholder to maintain and improving their handling to get food safety and quality through such collaboration program for training and workshop about this topic.
  7. Manage individual operations request, such as TR, TER, BR, PR, ER; and request in Talenta, such as leave, overtime, TOIL.
  8. Other assigned duties for the benefit of the organizations as per supervisor’s request.
  9. Other tasks assigned by the Director,which may be related to PT SLL internal management or planning activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer and Informatics or related field.
  • A minimum experience of 3 years of developing web applications and database management, specifically through using CSS, HTML, PHP, JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Understand about database concept, database query syntax i.e., data definition language, data manipulation language.
  • Having experiences to develop system using .Net or Visual C# or Java.
  • Having experiences to develop dashboard system using PHP, JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding about computer network, client server, Local Area Network.
  • Having experiences for troubleshooting hardware dan printer.
  • Familiarity working Android Studio for app development.
  • Experience with API system integration (integration software with devices, creating QR label, etc.).
  • Good analytical thinking and problems solving.
  • Having experience in communication and presentation skills.
  • Considerate of sensitive data.
  • Able to work collaboratively with teams and independently.
  • Time management skills on projects.
  • Ability to stay positive, supportive, and open to new ideas or approaches solutions to solving problems
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, and work with multiple diversity working environment with multi stake holder.
  • Willing to frequently travel to implementing areas in Indonesia and/or abroad and willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Good command of the English and Bahasa Indonesia.
